I was showing my sister what a blog was and how it worked - so I put in a nonsense post to show her  how easy it was to do.

I completely forgot posts go out automatically!  duh. My apologies. So let’s write a real one…

In the last  month several people have asked about the best way to represent themselves on the web. My answer is always a question. Why do you want to be represented on the internet?

Just as in your life, if you have no vision for your website there is no point in even going there. However, if want to communicate a message to others, if you want to market a product or products, or if you simply want to play on the internet - my answer is to start with a blog.

A blog is nothing more than a dynamic website. It means you can write content and easily post it on the internet creating  a dynamic web page.

It is relatively easy to do and inexpensive. Visitors are more likely to return as the information is fresh and interesting (hopefully).

There are many other reasons for recommending blogs, but that is a good beginning.

And that is why I posted that nonsensical stuff earlier! Blame it on my sister!
