Who Cares About The Economy?
The more I hear about the challenges everybody is facing the more I want to hide under a rock.
But in fact, we seem to be doing better than ever!
In some conversations I even hear talk about the end of the US as we know it, the one world oligarch government conspiracy, the chaos being fabricated to ensure the ability of the these people to make it happen – and on and on.
Then I think to myself – if I buy into that thinking I am helping create it!
So although it is very difficult to do (don’t we all want to see something bad happen in the news as we are so trained to look for it???) I am consciously doing my best to create MY world.
I’ll leave the bad stuff for the news networks to promote and hope it affects them as they create it!
And you?

Hi,
How did you get the TV out of your life?
I got mine out of my bedroom but the wife won’t let me throw it out of the house ..which is what I want to do.
Well done sir,
Daniel
Hello Daniel,
One step at a time.
It actually took a year or more to get the tv out as my wife used to watch one of the soap operas- it was almost an addiction! Hard to believe it has been over 20 years since we have had any cable or tv in our house!

More jobs, more employment equals BETTER economy. the IRS should cut down business taxes as this is one of the major things that the scares the entrepreneurs to venture into business. More entrepreneurs, more business set up, equals more job opportunities, and gain, BETTER economy.
Actually Eric, I thing the government should get out anything that can be better done by competition (from teaching to supporting the military) – and go to a flat tax – then we would have plenty!
Thanks for your comment!
I agree
RE: End of USA
I don’t have time to watch the “negative” news. At bedtime I read to the kids the next day’s school breakfast and lunch menu plus a short one page from a kid’s encyclopedia. I simply want my kids to be better than I am.
*I love Ghandi’s quote: “Be the change you want to see in the world.” (karmatube.com has inspirational stories, one was about a doctor that doesn’t charge for her services but she accepts donations)
*and I have so many things to work on regarding building up my character, self-esteem, communication skills, and exercising .. that the day is really short for me!
I very much agree with your take on things. I facilitate a group called
Whose Life Is It Anyway? and we discuss and journey twice a month. It is wonderful to watch individuals disconnect from the dominant way of thinking and return to the type of life it sounds like you embrace.
Congratulations on leading Karen! Keep up the good work and we can change one mind at a time…
